We’re delighted to introduce the newest member of the Hugs team, Charlie, who has joined us as our new Fundraiser & Networker.
Charlie will be helping us build new connections across the South West, getting to know local businesses, developing meaningful partnerships and finding new ways for people and organisations to get involved in supporting Hugs.
While fundraising is a new adventure for Charlie, he brings with him several years of experience working within the charity sector, alongside almost a decade of volunteering.
Supporting good causes, bringing people together and building genuine relationships have long been important to him, making him a fantastic addition to the Hugs team.
Charlie said:
“One of the things I’m most looking forward to is discovering the incredible businesses across the South West and, more importantly, getting to know the wonderful people behind them.
“I’m really keen to build genuine relationships, create exciting partnerships and find ways we can work together to make a difference.”
Getting to know Charlie
Away from work, Charlie has had an exciting year personally too, having married his wife in July. He is enjoying married life alongside their two dogs, and when he isn’t working you’ll often find him painting or getting creative by crafting tabletop maps.
We’re really excited to have Charlie on board and look forward to seeing the new relationships and opportunities he helps to create for Hugs.
