The Plymouth Santa Fun Run is back for 2026, bringing hundreds of Santas together for a brilliant morning of festive fun while raising vital funds for local charities.
This year, Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity is proud to be one of the event’s main charities alongside Shekinah.
Whether you want to take part, volunteer, fundraise, sponsor the event or simply come along and cheer on our Santas, we’d love you to get involved.
About the Plymouth Santa Fun Run
Taking place on Sunday 6 December 2026, the Plymouth Santa Fun Run gives participants the choice of a 2.5km or 5km route, passing some of the iconic sights of old Plymouth.
And remember, this isn’t a race!
It’s all about having fun, getting into the festive spirit and bringing the Plymouth community together for two fantastic local causes.
Participants take to the route dressed in Santa suits, creating quite a sight as a sea of Santas makes its way through the city.
Most importantly, every Santa taking part is helping to raise awareness and vital funds for Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity and Shekinah.

You don’t have to run to be part of the fun.
The Plymouth Santa Fun Run relies on an incredible team of volunteers to help the event run safely and smoothly.
More than 120 volunteer stewards are needed to support participants, help along the route and be part of the atmosphere on the day.
