Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity Named Southwest Charity Shop of the Year by the Charity Retail Association

Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious title of Southwest Charity Shop of the Year by the Charity Retail Association. This honour, recognises our unwavering commitment to supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Over the past year, Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity has dedicated itself to providing vital support services, resources, and a sense of community for families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Through the tireless efforts of our devoted volunteers and staff, we have successfully raised funds to enhance our programs and raise awareness of childhood cancer, making a significant impact in our community.

The award highlights Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity’s innovative approaches to charity retail, including partnering with local charities and businesses keen to support us with their services to ensure a minimum of donations are not utilised, our focus on recycling methods to support local green initiatives and our unwavering focus on supporting the donors that choose us as a point of destination. Our commitment to providing a welcoming environment for shoppers and donors alike has fostered a loyal customer base and strengthened our role within the community.

As we celebrate this achievement during our 10th year as a charity and this award strengthens our celebration and as Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity looks forward to continuing our mission and expanding our outreach.
